The SoapBox and Amnesty have collaborated to create a collection of shampoo & body bars that celebrates the culture of Women in Afghanistan.
Inspired by the hashtag #donottouchmyclothes, a social media campaign within the Afghan diaspora that celebrates pre-Taliban dress traditions, and mourns the loss of that freedom. The traditional dresses are beautiful and multi-colored and these influenced the creation of four colourful shampoo & body bars:
Love, Hope, Brave & Warrior.
€5 from the sale of each shampoo bar will go directly to Amnesty International to support their work with Women in Afghanistan.
Love - A floral blend of Jasmine, Sweet Orange, Rose & Sandalwood.
The essential oils give a heady floral combination to transport you to a summers evening in a peaceful paradise.
Organic Argan Oil has been added for a conditioning effect.
Each bar comes gift boxed and is decorated with a tiny rose and “Love” pendant.
The bars are formulated for use on hair but are also suitable for all over body use.
