The SoapBox and Amnesty have collaborated to create a collection of shampoo & body bars that celebrates the culture of Women in Afghanistan.
Inspired by the hashtag #donottouchmyclothes, a social media campaign within the Afghan diaspora that celebrates pre-Taliban dress traditions, and mourns the loss of that freedom. The traditional dresses are beautiful and multi-colored and these influenced the creation of four colourful shampoo & body bars:
Love, Hope, Brave & Warrior.
€5 from the sale of each shampoo bar will go directly to Amnesty International to support their work with Women in Afghanistan.
Brave – A strengthening blend of Cypress, Frankincense, Cinnamon and Lemon
Cypress is an essential oil long associated with bravery and Frankincense is known as the king of oils. Matched with cinnamon and lemon this bar wraps you in warmth and strengthens your spirit.
It contains Organic Shea Butter to add a light conditioning touch
This gift set is decorated with a sprig of cypress to represent the courage traditionally brought by Cypress and comes with a little “Brave” pendant.
The bars are formulated for use on hair but are also suitable for all over body use.
